As first-time homebuyers, we had no idea what we were doing. We sought help from a real estate agent expecting them to show us houses, help us put in an offer, and close the deal. Megan did so much more. We received daily emails with listings that met our criteria as we worked up to touring homes. On the day we toured, Megan guided us through the different properties, highlighting things she noticed on the listing or pointing out things we might not have noticed in front of us. It was so helpful to have someone there reminding us what we wanted. In the end we put in an offer which was accepted and then the real work began. The process of closing did not go super smoothly, but Megan was there to guide us through every step, staying in touch with the lender so she could explain everything that was happening. Megan was wonderful to work with. She helped us find a contractor to do updates to get our home ready for market and worked with us every step of the way including pushing the contractor to get things done on time and make sure everything was done to the specifications we wanted. Megan had good communications skills with the buyer's agent and gave us options to get out home sold. She stayed on top of things and made sure we had our portion done on time.
