For 18 years, Megan Oh worked as a paralegal, with the last ten years spent with real estate attorneys focusing on commercial REO, residential investments, evictions and property management, and transaction real estate work. After seeing how much joy real estate could bring others, Megan decided to make a career change and focus on helping buyers and sellers. Licensed in 2016, she quickly began working for Keller Williams Brokerage. In 2018, she started Providential Real Estate and began working for Compass Brokerage in 2021. In her few short years as a real estate agent, Megan has sold over 70 homes, becoming one of the most prolific agents in the Allen, Frisco, Plano, Rowlett, and Wylie, Texas area.
Born in Garland, Texas, Megan is a Texan through and through. One of the things she loves most about living in Allen is the sense of community and family-friendly activities. She has since dedicated her life to sharing the area with prospective homebuyers, ranging from first-time buyers who are looking to plant their roots to those looking to invest in real estate around the area.
With an A.A. in Paralegal Studies, a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on law, and an M.A. in the History of Ideas with a focus on ethics, in addition to being a licensed Pricing Strategy Advisor and Short Sales and Foreclose Resource as of 2020, Megan brings a wealth of knowledge to every deal. She ensures that her clients are taken care of and works hard to protect their interests in every deal she works on.
Megan’s favorite part of the business is the contract because it cements the deal. She knows real estate is for everyone, and she takes pride in knowing that she is the key to clients building their wealth through real estate. She knows everything is bigger in Texas, and she wants her clients to lead big lives and leave big legacies for generations to come. She considers herself a closer, and her hard-working, knowledgeable, and encouraging attitude has made her one of the top agents in the area.
When not closing deals for clients, Megan likes to spend time with her husband, four children, and English Bulldog. Avid college football fans, it’s not uncommon to see the family at a game when they’re not traveling the Midwest to see family. Megan also likes to give back, working hard to support the Collin County Children’s Advocacy Centre as well as the Ruel Foundation to help children in need.
